Mid Century Minimalism

This mid-century residence balances modern simplicity with vintage artistry, creating a home that feels both timeless and on-trend. A wood staircase with black iron detailing becomes a sculptural centerpiece, its curved form and reimagined ’70s-inspired railing blending organic warmth with architectural drama. Natural wood stair treads the design, adding a tactile, inviting rhythm. The bathrooms are infused with vibrancy and character: salmon-toned pink zellige tiles cover the floors and rise floor-to-ceiling along the back wall, their handcrafted texture adding richness and artistry. A West Elm vanity brings modern functionality, while an emerald, green pendant light sets a moody, hotel-like ambiance reminiscent of a chic Los Angeles retreat.

Entertainment spaces embrace both practicality and statement-making style. The once dated 1960’s bar has been reborn in marble — sleek, functional, and built for gatherings — transforming it into a centerpiece for modern hospitality. Throughout the home, vintage accents mix seamlessly with mid-century lines, creating a layered aesthetic that is chic, comfortable, and undeniably alive with characters.

"We recently purchased our new home, and the entire space required a major remodel. Thus far, for the first phase of the project, Thalia came in and understood what was required aesthetically and structurally to transform the home to our taste and lifestyle. She coordinated several contractors, selected products and materials, and ensured the process was smooth and craftsmanship was maintained. We look forward to continue to work with Thalia in subsequent phases!"  - Client
