Hi, my name is Liz. I am a product inventor and designer. I make bespoke jewelry, whilst developing new products to market. Currently I am designing characters for our new greetings card lines and introducing you to Sydney, the little green dragon and his family from the Sun. Our aim with our cards, stories and worksheets, is to encourage and inspire pre school and key stage 1 children to write and read. Our fun new concept means I can work with my family again, so it means a lot to me.

With regard to my jewelry, each piece has been crafted by hand in the U.K. I use really high quality fixings and wire, and making something original really inspires me. I love art and design, and the possibilities with jewelry makes every new item different from the last.

I studied product display and design at college, and then spent an intensive year studying at The School of Communication Arts in Islington. This was a four year condensed course and was a really brilliant time for me creatively. There were so many interesting people running and involved with the college, that it really opened my eyes to different ways to see the things around you.

After this I worked for a design agency, then left to pursue my dream of running my own business. I ran two retail premises and a wholesale business for many years until I decided to give more of my time to my brilliant family. During the time I ran my shops, I invented the product Runaway Spray (TM). This was a huge learning curve, and took ten years of research and development. My first customers were the Arcadia group and Superdrug which was amazing, as they gave me such support.

These days I find a creative outlet in designing new products, writing, and creating new jewelry lines. It fits in well with family life and they still smile indulgently when I jump up and down and announce that I have just thought of another new product idea, I'm covered in paint or my jewelry or Sydney sketches are all over my studio floor!

Business and Marketing Director: Nicky Edwards.

Nicky is my sister. We have always shared a dream to work together, and now we can. After studying Business Studies and Advertsing & Marketing, Nicky has worked at various London Ad Agencies over a 20 year period giving her an excellent background for our new venture.

Nicky is the brains behind our marketing and promotion. She is highly organised (thank goodness!), and makes sure our office runs smoothly and efficiently. She also provides clarity and insight for many of our ideas.

Director of Stories: Maureen Juniper.

Our Mum, Maureen is the creative writer for the stories for our card ranges. She is an avid book reader, and sees ideas all around her. She inspires us to look at things a little differently, and to see the bigger picture. She is an accountant by trade (another great bonus), but has been writing poetry and children's stories for as long as we can remember.

Mum told us tales of Sydney the Little Green Dragon from when we were very small, and we have grown up enjoying his magical adventures. This year we have introduced his family and hope you enjoy their adventures as much as we do.
